Amy joined Hawthorne Pharmacy in February 2013. Previously she worked in a large chain but always wanted to work in an independent pharmacy where she could have more one on one time with her patients. Amy is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she received her doctorate degree. She and her husband live in Blythewood where they have 3 children, Trey, Brandon and Kaylee. Amy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and watching college football.
Angie Parcheta joined Hawthorne Medical Equipment in 2010. She and her husband, Tim, have a passion for serving their community wherever they are needed. She has found that helping those who need medical equipment very rewarding. She enjoys cooking, camping and spending time with her 5 grandchildren.
Having grown up in Columbia as a patient at Hawthorne Pharmacy, Charlotte was excited to join the Hawthorne team in December of 2013. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and South Carolina College of Pharmacy and currently resides in the Heathwood area with her husband, Thomas, and young son, Lawson. Charlotte enjoys working the retail side of pharmacy. After working in a large retail chain, she appreciates the friendly, helpful staff and environment here at Hawthorne. Working at an independent pharmacy has been a very rewarding experience and has allowed her to help customers even more.
I started with Hawthorne Pharmacy & Medical Equipment in 1987 while in Pharmacy School at the University of South Carolina. Upon my graduation in 1989 I become a full time Pharmacist for Hawthorne Laurel Pharmacy. My wife and I have enjoyed living in the Shandon area of Columbia for many years. We enjoy sailing, traveling, and anywhere that has good coffee and cappuccinos.
John joined Hawthorne Pharmacy in 2012. A graduate from the University of South Carolina School of Pharmacy in 1983,John began his career with a large chain pharmacy. For the past twenty years he has worked in the West Columbia area and tries very hard to build relationships with his customers to better serve their needs. He is an avid Gamecock fan, loves to golf, and spend time with his family and friends. He and his wife Donna and three children Ryan, Lauren, and Jordan reside in Lexington.
Katie joined Hawthorne Pharmacy in November 2012. Katie has worked in the Lugoff area for over 7 years and enjoys working in a small town independent pharmacy where she can really get to know her patients. Originally from Kentucky, Katie and her husband live in West Columbia with their two daughters, Ava and Rose.
Kim joined Hawthorne Medical Equipment in 1993. She earned her MBA in 1998 and is the Director of the Medical Equipment company. Kim is a Certified Orthotic Fitter and currently serves as the President of the State Medical Equipment Suppliers Association. She is a member of Mt. Hebron UMC and lives in Lexington with her husband Bruce and their 3 children. Kim enjoys Gamecock football and camping with her family.
Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania Wendy Lee graduated with a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of South Carolina in 2000. She became a compounding pharmacist shortly after graduating and has continued her education in the field of bio-identical hormone replacement. Helping patients with their hormone imbalances has been a long time passion of hers. She joined Hawthorne Compounding Pharmacy in March 2012. She and her husband Britton live in Irmo, South Carolina and have two girls; Olivia and Alyssa. Besides playing with her girls Wendy enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with friends.
