Pharmacist Spotlight: Wendy Lee

Meet Wendy Lee, PharmD one of our compounding pharmacists at Hawthorne Taylor Pharmacy! 

Where did you go to school?

I attended the University of South Carolina.

How long have you been with Hawthorne?

I’ve been with Hawthorne for 10 years.

What made you want to go into pharmacy?

I love helping others with their health issues.  My father is a retired pharmacist and I learned about pharmacy at a young age and have been working in one since I was 18 years old.

Why did you choose Hawthorne Pharmacy?

Working for an independent pharmacy like Hawthornes allows me to take better care of my patients.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

 I love conducting hormone consultations and seeing how providing patients with knowledge and proper medication choices improves their health. 

What do you enjoy most about working in the community you're in?  

The community I work in like a family.  We are always helping each other with each other's gifts.

 Hormone Consulting and Compounding

Are you involved in any organizations? If so, which ones? 

Outside of work- FiA- females in action (peer lead all-female workout group).

Any hobbies? Fun facts? 

I love being active; running and spinning.  Other hobbies include traveling, playing games with my 2 daughters, cooking, and hanging out with friends.
